Job Purpose
To achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within West Africa for the Ecophon BU, by ensuring customer satisfaction and market share within your territory.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the sales activities in the area
- Apply decided sales strategies according to the Ecophon Steering Wheel
- Conduct sales using the Ecophon sales management tools (CRM Super Office, ABC, TSFK, KPI)
- Responsible for the project portfolio management in the area

- Set up customer sales agreements in consultation with the Regional Manager on behalf of Ecophon.
- Responsible for sales activities and the monitoring of own KPIs
- Set and execute the sales budget for the area in cooperation with the Regional Manager
- Execute local sales and marketing activities in accordance with the Regional Manager
- Monitor the existing customer portfolio in the area
- Identify and develop new customers in the area
- Provide the company with knowledge and information beneficial for progress, within its own area of responsibility as well as other areas.
- Stay in compliance with all competition laws and external local regulations
Qualifications required to fulfil the role
- Degree, Diploma or relevant industry qualification in engineering. Additional business or commercial qualifications would be advantageous.
Specific Work Experience, Knowledge and Skills required to fulfil the role
- Significant sales experience in construction products (>5 years) with proven success and architectural knowledge
- Commercial, sales and/or technical background

- Able to understand and explain technical information
- Knowledge in acoustic and architecture will be an added advantage
- Good professional networking in the specification construction business in west Africa will be a plus
- Able to build good relationships with a wide variety of customers
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- English native language or bilingual English/French
- Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Good professional networking in the specification construction business in Ghana, Nigeria and West Africa would be a plus
- Availability to be 60% on the field, visit in Western Africa and occasionally to Sweden
