Stars From All Nations (SFAN) is a fast-growing education company that unlocks the potential of Africa’s young geniuses. Our goal is to create frameworks and support systems that help young people live to their full potentials. As SFAN’s Fullstack Developer, you are responsible for designing software and frameworks that bring the company’s ideas to life. You are entrusted with the company’s portfolio of web/mobile applications and responsible for coaching junior developers.
You’ll also create functional and appealing products that address our clients’ needs and help the company showcase its brand to the public and grow its customer base. If you want to do your best work in a globally-minded enterprise addressing one of the biggest challenges on the continent, this is it!

About You
- Experience as a full-stack developer;
- Experience building digital products from A to Z, especially digital platform, business intelligence tools, analytics;
- 3-6 years of full-stack experience working in technology startups or in a technical role in corporations;
- Strong technical academic background: Computer Sciences, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence;
- Problem-solving skills and attitude;
Job Details
- Backend Programming (Core)
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL);
- Experience with API, design, development, and documentation; understanding of overall software infrastructure;
- AWS API and AWS Suite;
- Node.js, Mongo DB, Express.js;
- Crawlers, scrapers, search automation, and advanced data cleaning and segmentation;
- Frontend Programming (Good to have)
- Familiarity with React, React-Redux, Material UI, and JavaScript libraries;

Your Duties
- Support the development of a product roadmap
- Work alongside technical and non-technical team to design and develop and implement product roadmaps, including factoring in the additional budget for more resources and team members;
- Customer, competitor, and product research
- Design and oversee customer and persona research by preparing surveys and collecting direct data from the public and analytics tools;
- Understand customer needs and devise solutions to respond appropriately;

- Front-end: React JS
- Back-end: Node.js, MongoDB
- Cloud: AWS and suite
