BackLink Africa is an integrated digital marketing company focused on search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
We are currently hiring a Content Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for marketing our content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and growing reader engagement with our content.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for candidates who have prolific social media marketing skills, as demonstrated by their work experience, and at a genuine interest in at least one of the following topic areas:

- African political news: You are interested in and are an ardent follower of current African news across politics and business. You are able to creatively source content and drive engagement across the social media platforms of our website that is focused on covering breaking news in Africa.
- African history: You are interested in and are an ardent follower of content about African history, especially that which challenges current views that have been engendered by colonialism. You are able to creatively source content and drive engagement across the social media platforms of our website that is focused on covering African history news.
- Sports news: You are interested in sports news across a wide field of sports, especially football and others that are popular on the African continent. You are able to creatively source content and drive engagement across the social media platforms of our website that is focused on covering sports news for an African audience.
- Entrepreneurship news: You are passionate about entrepreneurship and have a genuine interest in news on Africans doing amazing things in Africa and around the world. You are able to creatively source content and drive engagement across the social media platforms of our website that is focused on covering news about African entrepreneurs around the world.
In addition to the above interests, successful candidates will need to be highly motivated, honest, and quick learners given the fast-paced nature of our work. To succeed in this specific role, you need to have good communication (written and verbal) skills, and you must be creative.
Compensation
Our compensation is composed of a fixed base pay, and a variable component that is based on your performance. In any given month, your payment may vary from ~$50 to $70 USD.
