This senior manager is a member of the National Management Leadership team and provides leadership for all the work with local churches of the National Office/geography as it works to build the ownership, capacity, and resources of local churches to effectively minister to children and youth in their context.
The incumbent collaborates with the National Director and peer managers for effective functioning of church-facing teams. He/she leads the development and implementation of the Partnership and Growth Strategy that contributes to partner maturity and high quality programs. Leads implementation of the Partnership Management core process.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction through subordinate managers and staff, including hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work to achieve global strategies and objectives. The incumbent collaborates with other senior leaders and contributes to the development of functional strategy and makes decisions based on operational strategy and priorities.

- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

- Accountable for supporting, upholding, and engaging in Compassion’s core “Cultural Behaviors” in all internal and external communication and relationships.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences
- A Masters’ Degree will be an added advantage
Experience
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience for Bachelor Degree holders and 7 years’ relevant experience for Masters’ Degree holders
Licenses and Certifications
- Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization in a related field.
*Equivalent education, training and/or certification may be substituted for experience and education shown above
