Responsible for safely and carefully transporting Managing Director to their respective destinations and proper maintenance of vehicles
DUTIES:
- Drives the company vehicle with extreme caution in order to avoid damages and maintenance cost.
- Conducts official task for Head Office and clients while observing all traffic laws
- Exhibits an efficient and appropriate time management schedule in performing all routes?
- Ensures all documentations are delivered with high security caution.
- Ensures the periodic schedule of vehicle maintenance is complete and reported
- Keeps the assigned vehicle clean
- Ensures that vehicles are kept neat at all times, including daily cleaning by self.
- Ensures officer in charge of transport performs timely renewals of insurance policies and roadworthiness certificates
- Ensures regular servicing of vehicles.
- Demonstrates good conduct and calm professionalism at all times, both on and off the road.
- Promptly reports any faults or damages with the vehicle.
- Performs minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary.
- Ensures that the required tools needed for emergencies for the vehicle are available (e.g. duster, triangle, fire extinguisher, jack, pliers, first aid box, etc.)
- Adheres to the Policies and Procedures of the Company.
- Drives company vehicle to pick, drop or deliver documents, packages
- Manages the consumption of fuel by using the appropriate routes
- Performs daily checks on the vehicle
- Ensures that passengers onboard the vehicle strap their seat belts
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and directives of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority.
- Maintains an average speed limit
- Logs all locations and activities in the drivers log book
- Ensures that road worthy and insurance for the vehicle is sent for renewal before the respective expiry dates
- Handle issues pertaining driving with tact and should be proactive.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR ASSETS:
- Has responsibility for keeping and maintaining confidentiality in matters relating to company’s property and documents
- Management of working logistics and equipment
Required Skills or Experience
COMPETENCIES:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Certificate in JHS / SSCE/ HND
-
At least 5 years’ experience of driving for a reputable company

Valid authorized drivers license
