KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
• Undertaking complex calculations
• Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• Resolving design and development problems
• Ranging budgets and project resources
• Rescheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.

QUALIFICATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in drawing up blueprints and plans for products and equipment.
• Designs and builds prototypes of planned products or equipment.
• Assists in the construction of said products and equipment.
• Writes up reports of daily laboratory activity.
• Maintains records and files of all completed engineering work.
• Inspects product design for problems or errors.
• Runs tests on products and equipment to ensure they function properly.
• Analyzes system or product performance.
• Provides suggestions for ways to improve products and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
