Full Job Description - Read Carefully


The Kumasi Technical University seeks to employ an Architect, Quantity Surveyor, and Junior Assistant Development Officer

Architect

The Architect shall undertake the following duties among others:

  • Preparation of Land-use Plans and Master Plans for the University.
  • Assist in Planning and Managing Strategic Infrastructural
  • Developments of the University.
  • Assist in implementing the Master Plan of the University.
  • Architectural Designs and Production of Drawings of Infrastructural Projects.
  • Assist in offering technical advice for successful implementation of infrastructural projects among others.

Qualification, Skills, and Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Architecture or related qualification.
  • Member of a recognized professional body.
  • Two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience.

Qualification, Skills, and Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Built Environment or related qualification.
  • Member of a recognized professional body preferably Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS).
  • Two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience.

 

Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor among other duties shall undertake the following:

  • Project Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation
  • Project Controls (cost, time, quality, communications, risk,
  • Procurement and stakeholder engagement)
  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs)
  • Valuation of Variations
  • Preparation of Tender Evaluation Reports
  • Contract Administration among other duties

Qualification, Skills, and Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Building Technology or Construction
  • Economics or Quantity Surveying.
  • Member of a recognized professional body.
  • Two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience.

Junior Assistant Development Officer

The Junior Assistant Development Officer shall undertake the following duties among others:

  • Valuation of Landed Property
  • Land Administration and Land Management
  • Estate Management
  • Grounds and Environmental Sanitation activities

Qualification, Skills, and Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Built Environment or related qualification.
  • Member of a recognized professional body preferably Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS).
  • Two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience.
