--> Making Cents International is recruiting for an Access to Finance Specialist for the anticipated USAID-funded Ghana Market Systems and Resilience Activity. The project will increase inclusive agriculture-led economic growth in 17 districts of the Northern, Upper East, and Upper West regions of northern Ghana through competitive, stronger, and more resilient markets.
This position is contingent upon winning a contract award.
Ghanaian citizens are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen and expand inclusive finance mechanisms (e.g., village savings and loan associations [VSLAs] and digital banking) that reach smallholder farmers with an emphasis on women, youth, and other marginalized groups
- Train, mentor, and monitor VSLAs
- Support the establishment of relationships between the Activity and financial institution partners
