Site Manager - Resource Complete

We, Resource Complete have a job opportunity for a qualified Site Manager to join our dynamic team on a project throughout Ghana, Accra/ Tema. We provide services for our client, who are leaders in railway safety and control solutions in Africa, implementing rail projects throughout Africa.

We are a growing services and consulting company based in South Africa and Mozambique that offers its employees flexible short to medium term contracts that is project dependent.

Responsibilities

• Site inspections and site surveys
• Preparing the site, including installing temporary offices and facilities before construction work starts
• Overseeing operations of the whole site on a day-to-day basis
• Assisting the Project Manager
• Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments
• Report progress to client’s representatives, ensure the safety of the team and site workers and troubleshoot (problem solve) any issues that may arise
• Monitoring progress of the project site activities and reporting to the Project Manager

Requirements

• Permanent residence in Ghana
• Valid drivers license
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Site Manager in the Construction or Engineering field
• Computer literate (Strong IT skills)
• Clear criminal record
• Sound references that will be contacted
• Energetic and results driven
• Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and strong written skills

Project Duration

• 6 – 9 Month contract. Potential for extension at the end of the contract.
