IT Officer - P.M. Renaissance

The IT Manager shall be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the hospital's computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. 

• Manage information technology and computer systems.
• Run an asset management program to receive, identify, input into system and maintain for duration of project. 
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• IT support and access to the Printers, WIFI, etc.
• Run a medical supplies inventory management system.  Receive all medical goods, place into inventory, securing the inventory, and maintaining the minimum required levels of stock.
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Perform system audits.

Requirements

• First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar fields.
• At least 5 years' proven working experience as an IT Manager an IT role at a supervisory level or relevant experience.
• Professional certification in database management will be desired.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data center management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• A detailed knowledge of the healthcare industry’s best practice processes is required.
