Working with a forward thinking, well established renewable energy company you will an integral part of extending the reach for this company across large scale solar PV and battery storage development in Africa.
This business covers the full life cycle of utility projects and has an extensive project portfolio across the African region.
Your Responsibilites:
Overseeing all related technical elements, leading the Engineering, O&M and Project Management teams including:
- Developing strategy
- Training and developing an eager to learn and hungry technical team
- Working closely with the BD teams ensuring technical synergy and working towards supporting customers and commercial goals
- Overseeing the development and implementation of technical projects
- Championing health, safety and environmental standards

What we are looking for in you:
- Strong technical knowledge in medium-large size Solar PV AND battery storage
- Proven track record of managing and developing a team of engineers
- Engineering Degree qualified or equivilent
- Experienced in managing and completing solar projects
- Design experience is an advantage
Please note you would be required to relocate to Africa and be willing to travel in country. For the right candidate this role will be available on a remote basis with frequent travel to Africa.
