A company IN POKUASE is looking for ten (10) enthusiastic persons to answer requests & generate sales by cold calling in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services.

You must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.

The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers.
  • Call prospective customers by operating a given phone directory to sell products and services.
  • Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits.
  • Persuade & influence customers to buy services and merchandise by following a prepared sales talk to demonstrate how merchandise or services meet their needs & give service and product information as well as price quotations.
  • Secures information by completing data base backups.
  • Completes orders by recording names, addresses, and purchases; referring orders for filling.
  • Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation. Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
  • Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information.
  • Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

 

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
 
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (Microsoft Office) and telephone systems.
 
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in English.
Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints.
Persistent and results-oriented.
Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
Although not mandatorily required, proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role will be appreciated. Although not mandatorily required, proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone.
 
Minimum Qualification Requirements - Higher national diploma (hnd),
Minimum Experience - less than 1 year
