Job Description and Responsibilities
- Ensure the product being produced is of the highest standard
- Ensuring CGMP and sops are adhered to, throughout the facility – from start to end of a job
- Overseeing manufacturing activities, specifically mixing and blending of powders and liquids
- Accountable for raw material, packaging material and intermediate products stock
- Introducing new products within the facility and conducting trial and validation batches in conjunction with the validation department.
- Ensuring all materials have been validated and department
- Ensuring production planning is maintained in a timorously and efficient manner in order to satisfy clients. Liaising with maintenance to ensure facility and equipment and in good order
- Providing training to staff
- Maintain batch manufacturing records and other GMP required documents

- Perform quality risk assessments
- Working close connection with QA and other departments to resolve any deviations, audit findings or changes
- Rotations for shift work
Qualification Required & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy – Preferably industrial Pharmacy
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing in pharmaceutical industry
- Must currently be a member of the pharmaceutical society of Ghana and industrial pharmacy association
- Expertise in manufacturing of solid doses (both capsules and tablets) as well as liquid doses (both syrup and dry syrups)
