A reputable organization, Portmasters Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to manage its Financial and Operational(showroom) needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of petty cash
- Preparing and Filing of GRA returns
- Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow
- Ensure accurate accounts system and ledger balances
- Receive cash paid and ensure right postings of cash receipt to cashbook and balancing it
- Ensure that expenditure and revenue targets for the year are met
- Process client invoices and ensure clients are accurately and timely billed at all times.
- Management of cash inflows and outflows

- Report all cash inflow activities per cash receipts journal
- Responsible for monthly cash posting including adjustments for month end process
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Ensure both suppliers and staff payment requests are fully supported by appropriate documents before payment
- Preparing Sales Report (mid-month & end of month)
- Sales Debtors Reconciliation
- Price Change Analysis & Local Purchase Analysis
- Prepare Payroll Schedule for Staff
- Managing and maintaining the showroom
- Any other duties assigned by the manager
Requirements
- Minimum of Higher National Diploma (Accounting Option) or better
- Tally Accounting solution and Quick book
- Not less than 2 years working experience.
- Abreast with showrooms sales and Marketing (added advantage)
- Accuracy and attention to detail Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks Data entry and Microsoft skills
- Well organized and Meticulous
- Must live around Ablekuma, Lapez, Kwashiman, Odorkor and its environs
