A not-for-profit organisation (NGO) into Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) with offices in Greater Accra and the Northern Region is seeking to employ a well-motivated and experienced Hydro Assistant.
The Hydro Assistant will mainly provide technical support to the Head of Operations in the conduct of hydrogeological investigations, supervise borehole drilling activities on the field, monitor and provide guidelines for the installations of handpumps and construction of limited mechanized systems. The Hydro Assistant shall directly supervise drilling operations and appropriately provide technical reports on field activities and operations.

Required Skills or Experience
Education & Experience:
- First Degree in Geological Science, Civil Engineering, Water Engineering or related field;
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the WASH Sector in Ghana or working with an organisation into the provision of water, sanitation and hygiene services in rural and deprived communities;
- Relevant experience in the NGO sector will be an added advantage;
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages.
