Reporting To: Vice Chancellor
Qualification Required & Experience
The successful applicant must
- Be of professional status or Senior Lecturer from an academic/research institution or a person from industry eligible for that position
- Be capable of providing academic, managerial and administrative leadership to the Faculty and its affiliated institutions and must have capacity to promote a collegial working environment within the institution
- Have the vision and the drive to oversee the growth and development of the faculty.
- Understand and have an international outlook, specifically in current trends in the higher educational landscape and
- Be able to market the University/Faculty locally and internationally
Tenure
The successful candidate shall hold office for a period of three years in the case of professorial and two years for senior lecturers and is eligible for re-appointment for a further term of up to three and two years as the case may be
