A reputable institution is seeking to recruit a Legal Officer for its job vacancy in Accra.
Job Objective
To provide effective and efficient legal support and advice to the Company
Job Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to both internal and external
- Review all legal cases and advise the Head, Legal and Company Secretary accordingly.
- Draw up legal docunaents for approval by the Legal Officer and Company Secretary.
- Ensure proper execution of contracts/Agreement by authorised signatories to avoid breach of contract.
- Research legal information
- Represent the institution at the court and other quasi-judicial and law enforcement agencies

- Liaise with external lawyers and consultants for the prosecution/defence of cases in court
- Ensure timely responses to statutory and regulatory
- Company secretarial work.

Job Specifications
- Knowledge of Ghanaian Banking and Non-Banking Laws/ Regulations
- A University degree in Law (LLB).
- Qualifying certificate in Law
- One (1) to Three (3) years working experience as a Legal
