A reputable organisation is looking to strengthen its IT Division and is, therefore, seeking to employ the following professional as C# Developer

The C# Developer will be responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. The candidate's primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. The candidate must also be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Ultimately, the role of the C# is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system

  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programmes and evaluate user feedback
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards 16. Ensure software is updated with latest features

 

Requirements

  • BSc/MS degree in Computer Science. Engineering or a related subject
  • Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
  • Experience designing interactive applications
  • Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
  • Familiarity with the NET
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and other DBMS such as MySQL and Oracle
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks
  • Familiarity with Windows Presentation Framework
  • Knack for writing clean, readable C# code
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications
