Full Job Description - Read Carefully
The Principal Project Manager will manage all aspects of Compassion International office relocation program including the construction of an ultra-modern office complex on behalf of CIGH. He/she will be responsible to obtain all relevant building permits and licenses; evaluate bid proposals; develop a construction master plan; perform on-site inspections; facilitate communication and ensure compliance with all construction and other related laws.
The Principal Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of Compassion International Ghana’s office relocation project including the construction of an ultra-modern office complex, ensuring consistency with Compassion International strategy, commitments and goals. As the Principal Project Manager, he/she will navigate clients through the Ghana National Office building and relocation project. Working on the details and complexity of this project, this professional will secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. He or she will manage the Ghana National Office’s largest and most complex project to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
Essential Job Functions
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
Acts as an advocate for children. Understands and advances Christ's mandate to protect children. Raises awareness of the needs of children and takes active steps to help protect against neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children. Promotes the dignity, respect, positive treatment, potential of children in all circumstances. Encourages the involvement of others in helping children in need. Reports and appropriately support responses to incidents of harm of children if they occur.
