Careers in Ghana a leading recruitment company, is looking for qualified and committed individuals for the following role as General Manager in charge of mining Operations & management
Job Description
- Reporting to the board, Mining General Manager with excellent initiative and a track record of managing an operating mine in a challenging location.
- Responsible for all financial aspects of the business.
- Manage personnel on site on daily basis
- Responsible for ensuring that necessary new systems and processes are put into place across the project and teams to ensure the success and profitability of the business unit
- maintain and develop with the Board strategic plans for the Corporation and implement such plans to the best abilities of the Corporation
- co-ordinate the preparation of an annual business plan or strategic plan

- take primary responsibility for the administration of all of the Corporation's subareas and administrative practices
- provide a culture of high ethics throughout the organization
Required Skills / Experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in mining operations and in management
- Degree or Masters in any Mining related qualification and management skills
Competencies
- English language skills
- Proven experience managing an operation in West Africa or hardship locations
Education
Education Level : Bachelors Degree
