A reputable financial institution located in Accra is looking for qualified persons in the following senior position as Deputy Head, Legal Department
DEPUTY HEAD, LEGAL DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities
- Advising Management on legal matters as shall be referred for advice by the Head of Legal Department or directly by Management.
- Assisting in the legal documentation of credit and other facilities extended to its customers
- Handling court matters and assisting external solicitors in the prosecution of cases on behalf of the institution
- Acting as Board Secretary to some of the subsidiaries of the company
- Managing the affairs of the Legal Department in the absence of the Head of Department
Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- LLB (Hons) or BA (Law) and should be on the roll of lawyers in Ghana.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional work experience as a lawyer.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision
- Computer literacy - applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office
