The Controller, Financial Controls at MTN Ghana provides support in accounting and financial controls to support sales activities.
Division: Sales & Distribution
Department: Sales Planning & Analytics
Location: Accra
Position: Controller, Financial Controls
Level: MTN Level 2
Reports to: Manager, Sales Financial Controls
Job Role
- Provide base information and working for accounting of revenue items including provisional entries.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of all payment requests from regional team i.e. travel allowance, market related activities and their reimbursements.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of all payments due Distributors i.e. Connect store payments
- Monthly reconciliation of S/D electronic wallets for MNP and SBS
- Coordinate the reconciliation of regional sales accounts

- Prepare monthly Opex budget variances analysis and provide comments
- Assist in the consolidation of regional and in the actual preparation S/D budget
- Assist in POs review and approval
- Review PO commitments and engage finance team on any discrepancies

Qualification Required & Experience
Education:
Minimum of a University Degree in Finance/ Accounting or a related field
Experience:
3 years relevant experience in a similar role.

- Computer literacy
