The Law Reform Commission is an organisation committed to the promotion of reform of laws in Ghana. Its task is to recommended reforms to simplify and update laws to reflect the changing needs of society. The Commission requires the services of a Law Reform Officer to perform among others the following duties:
CORE DUTIES
- Facilitate the conduct of research on legal issues
- Prepare issue papers on top)cs for law reform
- Collate the inputs for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the directorate
- Collate input for the preparation of working papers and consultative documents
- Prepare issue papers on topics for law reform

- Facilitate the organisation of outreach and advocacy programmes and activities of the commission
- Collate inputs for the preparation of draft work plans for the legal directorate
COMPETENCIES
- Experience in research work in Law
- Conflict management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good ICT skills
- Good report witting skills
- Leadership networking, monitoring and management skills
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
- Must have a degree in Law (LLB/BA LAW)
- Applicant must have been called to the Ghana BAR.
