A reputable construction firm in Ghana seek the services of various professionals in the construction industry as PROJECT MANAGERS – ROADS / BUILDINGS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the project team
- Day to day management of work activities
- Manage and control resources assigned to the project
- Ensuring that works are executed to specified contract standards
- Manage sub-contractors assigned to the project
- Monitoring and reporting progress of works to head office
- Manage and use plant and equipment assigned to the project efficiently
- Represent the company at site meetings and reporting to relevant authority in the head office
- Liaise with consultants/ authorities for project related issues and reporting to management
- Lead in the processing of monthly valuations of work done
- Manage, control and set timelines as demanded by the project management plan
- Supervise project team, subcontractors and artisans and ensure that set targets are achieved.

SALARY AND CONDITIONS
Negotiable
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of first degree in civil engineering/building technology or related field with minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction management
- Post graduate qualification would be an added advantage
- Excellent communications skills and must have a skill set for managing people.
- MS office and CAD software.
