A reputable private security company with offices in 10 regions of Ghana seeks the services of a Chartered Accountant for their Head Office in Accra.
Job Accountabilities
- Responsible for the overall management of company accounts/financial operations
- Preparation of payroll
- Day to day accounting entries , i.e recording, verifying, consolidating and reviewing of transaction
- Documentation of all financial transaction by entering all financial information
- Preparation of summary of daily cash and cheques lodgment at the bank
- Preparation and filing of all taxes and compliance processes with regulators
- Debt outstanding follow-ups and balance confirmation from clients
- Customer ledger book verification

Required Skills or Experience
- The ideal candidate for the position of an Accountant must have a first degree or an HND in Accounting from an accredited Tertiary Institution in addition possess a, professional qualification
- Professional qualification: Member of ICA(Ghana)/ACCA/CIMA
- At least a minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience as an Accountant with independent role, leading a team.
- IT and software experience: Demonstrated skills in the use of MS office applications and any accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Report writing skills
