We, Akka Kappa Ltd Property Solutions are looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of Accounting Assistant

Role

We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is efficient, accurate and possesses strong organizational and bookkeeping skills. The Accounting Assistants is expected to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, preparing and updating reports.

The candidate will be required to abide by all accounting procedures and principles and be proficient with computer software, such as MS Office (Excel and Word) and Tally. 

 

Personal Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in related field, preferably with proven working experience..
  • Proficient with MS Office and Tally
  • Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with basic Accounting principles.
  • Professional manner and strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing emails and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining database files, ensuring that records are complete and current.
  • Prepare contracts, invoices and statements
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Preparing checks, deposits, and financial reports.
  • Updating ledgers, researching and resolving discrepancies
  • Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Assisting with internal audits, fact checks, and reports.
