Full Job Description - Read Carefully
Our client is multinational company leading in innovative solutions in the infrastructure, energy and water sectors, aimed at sustainability. The Senior Accountant role, based in Accra will support the Country Project Manager to mnage the economic and financial administration of the Ghana operations.
Functional Responsibilities
- Monthly accounting
- Monthly reporting to Head Office in Europe
- Control of bank balances
- Management of Income Tax, VAT, WHT, Reconciliations, Corporate Tax and all statutory obligations as per Ghana laws
- Manage and supervise the work of the external audit company for annual statement and corporate tax presentation
- Supervise payroll.
- Support the Administrative function as and when required.

Requirements
- A minimum of first degree in Accounting.
- Membership of a professional body (ACCA, CIM) will be a plus
- At least five (5) years' professional experience in a similar role with a reputable institution
- Experience working in an audit company would be a plus
- A sound understanding of Ghana taxation system.
- Knowledge of Quick Books is mandatory; any other accounting software will be a plus.

- Good communication skills
- Must be fluent in both oral and written English
- ?Must be computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows
