Role Purpose

  • Responsible for collections and clients details update

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the collection of new business premiums.
  • Collect premiums from assigned premium deduction sources to be applied to both old and new policies.
  • Update premium and policy movement on the system.
  • Re-submit application forms that were not processed and follow up to ensure that premiums are deducted.
  • Update banks on changes in premiums and deletions.
  • Report on the premium collection and mandate processing rate.
  • Assist the Manager with correspondence with clients, sales representatives, Branch managers, and Institutions.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by a supervisor within the scope and context of the job

Competencies

  • Business acumen, written and verbal communication, Analytical Skills, Proficient in MS. Office (MS. Excel & Access), and self-awareness are some of the required competencies

Requirements

  • First degree in Actuarial or Statistics or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage
