Electrical Technicians

Responsibilities for Electrician

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
• Calibrate equipment to provided specifications
• Peform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
• Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs

Qualification: 

• NVTI Certificate or its equivalent in any of the trades. City and Guilds would be considered

 

Plumbers

Responsibilities for Plumber

• Study and analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout
• Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes and tubes without interfering with existing infrastructure
• Measure, cut and bend pipe material
• Assemble valves, fittings, tubes and water system appliances
• Install and maintain building water systems
• Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines

Qualification: 

• NVTI Certificate or its equivalent in any of the trades. City and Guilds would be considered

Carpenters

Responsibilities for Carpenter

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of products, ranging from cabinets to insulation to tile to drywall
• Perform work in accordance with safety best practices
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition
• Conduct building inspections and identify needed repairs
• Document repairs and maintain thorough records
• Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed
• Build doors, cabinets, and windows
• Measure and mark materials for alterations

Qualification: 

• NVTI Certificate or its equivalent in any of the trades. City and Guilds would be considered

Painters / Handymen / Slashers

Qualification: 

• NVTI Certificate or its equivalent in any of the trades. City and Guilds would be considered

Conservancy Labourers

Qualification: 

• Must have BECE or higher qualification.
• Must be physically and medically fit

Masons

Qualification: 

• NVTI Certificate or its equivalent in any of the trades. City and Guilds would be considered
