Africa Assistance Plan (AAP) is a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives and communities across Africa through sustainable development and the love of Christ. We work in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Children and Youth Empowerment, Church and Community Empowerment, and Livelihood Development. Our vision is "That Africa Might Be Saved."
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our Communications team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about digital storytelling, content creation, and using social media to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Write captions, articles, and stories that highlight AAP's impact.
- Design simple graphics using Canva or similar tools.
- Capture photos and videos during field activities and events.
- Schedule and publish social media content.
- Monitor engagement and prepare basic performance reports.
- Support communication and fundraising campaigns.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Canva and major social media platforms.
- Basic photography or video editing skills are an advantage.
- Creative, organized, and eager to learn.
- Able to work from our office in Baakoniaba, Sunyani.
