Job Purpose
Install and maintain electrical installations on structures and equipment.
Department: Technical Reports Directly To: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
-
Maintain all electrical installations and equipment in the facilities.

Develop and implement strict PM programs for the maintenance of electrical installations
-
Regularly review maintenance plans to suit the age of the assets
-
Develop and implement strong defect identification procedures for facilities and equipment through weekly inspections.
-
Develop and implement defect-reporting procedures
-
Monitor machines in the production areas to identify defects
-
Monitor equipment and carry out maintenance works where required
-
Perform maintenance works as prescribed in the Work order (WO)
-
Assemble, install, test, and commission new equipment within the facility
-
Troubleshoot and fix complex malfunctions on installations within the facility
-
Reading and interpreting circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Propose management strategies regarding the choice of asset at the design and procurement stages
-
Electrical inventory management
-
Adherence to food and health safety protocols
-
Submit weekly reports on electrical installations and equipment failures and corrective actions
-
Inspect and supervise external contractors

Qualification
-
Background in electrical engineering: HND/Degree
-
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
