Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who are highly skilled, meticulous and analytical to fill 2 vacancies in the post of Assistant Legislative Drafting Officer II in the Parliamentary Service of Ghana.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Legislative Drafting Officer II shall
- Analyse legislative policy proposals to ensure they are consistent with existing legal frameworks
- Provide expert legal advice to Members of Parliament, committees and departments
- Draft primary legislation (Bills)
- Draft amendments to legislation during parliamentary committee stages
- Proofread and mark up documents
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Clerk to Parliament.

Qualification Required & Experience
- A Bachelor's of Law Degree from a recognised university plus a Barrister at Law (BL) qualification
- Must have completed pupillage and
- With a maximum of 3 years post-qualification experience
