Wanslu Shop is a growing e-commerce and sourcing platform that connects customers directly with Chinese suppliers.

Through our platform, customers can access millions of products from China, place orders online, and benefit from our import-export services for commercial purchases, machinery, equipment, solar products, consumer goods, and more.

As part of our continued expansion across Africa, we are looking for a fully bilingual (English/French) Sales Agent with strong sales, communication, and digital skills to support the growth of Wanslu Shop and our Import-Export services.

The successful candidate will work remotely and should be comfortable using digital tools, social media platforms, online communication channels, and internet-based business solutions to prospect customers, manage leads, and support business development activities across African markets.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Development

  • Promote Wanslu Shop to retailers, resellers, dropshippers, and individual buyers.
  • Assist customers with account registration and ordering processes.
  • Follow up with leads and convert prospects into active customers.
  • Support customer inquiries and coordinate with the China team when necessary.

Import-Export Business Development

  • Prospect companies, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and importers.
  • Identify sourcing opportunities and collect customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with the China team to obtain quotations and product information.
  • Follow up with prospects throughout the sales process.
  • Develop long-term business relationships with customers and partners.

Market Expansion

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Develop partnerships and business networks.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights.
  • Participate in online business development activities when required.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit weekly activity reports.
  • Track leads, customer interactions, and business opportunities.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the management team.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer follow-up.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken) — mandatory.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, import-export, logistics, cargo, procurement, or e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated experience working with African markets and customers.
  • Strong understanding of business practices, customer behavior, and commercial opportunities across African markets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely with an international team.
  • Strong organizational, reporting, and follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to work with online business tools.

Digital Skills (Required)

  • Proficient in using computers, smartphones, and internet-based business tools.
  • Good knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp Business.
  • Ability to create and manage online prospecting activities.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Microsoft Office, and online communication tools.
  • Ability to learn and use new digital platforms and CRM systems quickly.
  • Experience with digital marketing, online lead generation, or social selling is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of wholesalers, retailers, importers, distributors, or business owners is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working with import-export companies, freight forwarders, cargo companies, sourcing businesses, or trading companies.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, CRM tools, and online prospecting techniques.
