The Demand Planner at Jumia Group is responsible for ensuring optimal stock availability by aligning supply chain activities with demand forecasts. This role acts as a critical link between supply chain, finance and commercial teams (KAMs) to ensure efficient inbound scheduling, and accurate inventory data maintenance.
What you will be doing:
PO Management & Supplier Alignment
- Prepare, raise, and manage POs in OMS for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with weekly procurement meeting decisions and MOQ approvals.
- Liaise with vendors to confirm costs, quantities, and delivery dates, and collaborate with KAMs to verify pricing accuracy.
- Track the PO lifecycle, route orders for approval, and promptly close out or cancel fulfilled or delayed orders.
