Zonda Tec Ghana Limited is a leading automobile assembling and sales company in Ghana. We operate a dedicated 4S store (Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Survey) and service stations for our brands including GWM, Chery, DongFeng, Shantui, and Sitrak. We are committed to providing efficient after-sales support through robust parts availability.

Location: Dzorwulu Branch, Accra

Reports To: Branch Manager

Job Summary

The Vehicle Management Manager is responsible for the daily movement, parking arrangement, and overall control of all company vehicles at the Dzorwulu Branch. This role conducts thorough vehicle inspections (upon arrival and regularly), performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs (especially battery and starting systems), and maintains accurate vehicle condition records.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with a Class B and Class F license, mechanical knowledge, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily movement of all branch vehicles – assign vehicles to authorized drivers, log trip purposes, and monitor return times.
  • Arrange parking systematically (e.g., separate areas for small cars, tipper trucks, and machinery) to ensure easy access and safe maneuvering.
  • Maintain overall control of vehicle keys, ignition cards, and movement logbooks.
  • Prevent unauthorized use or after-hours movement without approval.
  • Conduct full vehicle inspection immediately upon arrival of any vehicle (whether new delivery, returned from field, or after repairs).
  • Perform regular scheduled inspections (daily, weekly, monthly depending on vehicle
  • Identify common faults (e.g., starting issues, unusual noises, warning lights) and document them. 
  • Execute minor mechanical/electrical repairs 
  • Recognize when a fault exceeds in-house capability and escalate for professional garage repair.
  • Maintain clear vehicle condition records for each asset – inspection checklists, repair history, mileage logs, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly monitored – track location (via GPS where available), usage patterns, and upcoming service dates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle parking and maintenance area. 

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of HND in Automotive Engineering with driving experience.
  • Must hold a valid Ghana Driver’s License with the following classes: Class B (for small passenger cars) and Class F (for tipper trucks and heavy engineering machinery).
  • Proven experience in vehicle management, mechanical repair, fleet supervision, or a related field (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with tipper trucks and construction machinery is highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle systems – engine, transmission, electrical, cooling, braking, and steering.
  • Ability to perform common fault diagnosis using basic tools (multimeter, OBD scanner, pressure gauge) or by observation/hearing.
