Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Limited is seeking to recruit Civil Engineer.
Position Title: Civil Engineer – Transmission Line & Substation Relocation Project
Job Purpose
To manage and supervise all civil and structural engineering aspects of the transmission line and substation relocation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve civil engineering designs and construction drawings.
- Supervise foundation construction for transmission towers and substation equipment.
- Oversee site grading, access roads, drainage systems, retaining structures, and building works.
- Ensure compliance with approved specifications and construction standards.
- Review geotechnical reports and recommend foundation solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and quality verification activities.
- Monitor contractor performance and productivity.
- Coordinate civil works with electrical installation activities.
- Verify quantities, measurements, and progress certifications.

Qualification Requirements
- BSc in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8–10 years experience in power infrastructure projects.
- Experience in transmission line foundations, substation civil works, roads, drainage, and structural works.
- Knowledge of geotechnical investigations and structural analysis.
General Requirements
- Experience working on high-voltage transmission and substation projects (161kV or above preferred).
- Strong knowledge of utility standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remote project locations.
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management software.
- Commitment to quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work under demanding schedules while maintaining high professional standards
