Job Summary:
The person is responsible for the systematic recording, analysis, and reporting of an organization's financial health. The work is crucial for internal decision-making, ensuring legal compliance, and communicating with external stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (like balance sheets and income statements), management accounts, and conduct month-end and year-end closings.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., GST/WHT), liaise with external auditors and tax agents, and support tax filings.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accounting records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Budgeting and Analysis: Support forecasting and budgeting exercises, analyze costs and revenues, and interpret financial data to guide business strategy.
