Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Technician Supervisor to lead and supervise our electrical and fire safety technical team. The successful candidate will oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, and project execution of electrical and fire protection systems while ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience in fire alarm systems, electrical installations, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate Electrical Technicians on daily operations and project activities 
  • Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm and electrical systems 
  • Monitor and ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards 
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and fire system faults 
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities 
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, fire safety standards, and company procedures 
  • Read and interpret electrical layouts, schematics, and fire system drawings 
  • Prepare technical reports, service reports, and project documentation 
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and HSE personnel during installations and servicing 
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce workplace safety practices 
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians to improve technical performance 
  • Respond to emergency service calls and system breakdowns when required 
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company assets 

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 
  • Minimum of 4–6 years practical experience in electrical and fire safety systems 
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a technical environment 
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and electrical control systems 
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and fire protection systems effectively 
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety regulations 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage technical teams effectively 
  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
