Our client Adom Shipping Company is a door-to-door shipping company. It is a family-owned company operating and currently shipping from the United Kingdom (UK) to Ghana. The company has a mission to provide reliable, affordable, quality and assured door to door service. It focuses on linking Ghanaian businesses to the UK and global market. The office in Ghana is located in Suncity last stop, Ashiaman-Tema.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidates shall undertake inter alia the following duties:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Operations
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and without damage or loss
- Work closely with Delivery Personnel to ensure accurate delivery execution
- Items must not be returned to the warehouse without proper authorization
Vehicle Management & Accountability
- Take full responsibility for assigned vehicle
- Ensure vehicles are used strictly for official purposes
- Daily Checks: Fuel level, Engine oil, Tyres, Brakes, Lights
- Report faults before commencing operations
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior)
- Ensure vehicle is parked securely after work
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all road traffic laws and regulations
- Adhere strictly to company policies and SOPs
- Do NOT use mobile phones while driving
- Strictly no alcohol or drug use during working hours
- Safety is non-negotiable
Customer Interaction & Conduct
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Represent Adom Shipping positively
- Wear approved company uniform
- Do not request or accept tips or unauthorized payments

Warehouse Support
- Assist in: Offloading containers, Sorting and organizing goods, Loading delivery vehicles
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and delivery teams
Reporting & Communication
- Provide real-time delivery updates
- Confirm delivery completion promptly
- Report: Delays, Accidents, Damages, Vehicle issues
- Maintain honesty in all financial matters (fuel, expenses, interactions with authorities)
Required Skills or Experience
- Basic Secondary School education
- Professional valid driver’s license C
- Clean or declared driving history
- At least 5 years of commercial driving experience
- Physically fit for operational duties
Salary: GHS 1500
