Location: Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R
Purpose
The daily management, treatment, and recycling of factory wastewater

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Operates the wastewater treatment plant in an effective and efficient manner.
- Carry out all maintenance works on the plant.
- Make yourself available to deal with all emergency situations around the plant.
- Comply with all health and safety protocols at the workstation.
- Follow all procedures stated in the SOP for the smooth operation of the plant.
- Perform all aspects of sampling and monitoring required to comply with Ghana Standard on Effluent discharge.
- Analyze and record water quality (pH, TDS, Conductivity, COD, DO) twice daily.
- Collect oil content from the flotation tank twice daily.
- Monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually to regulate the flow of wastewater through the DAF, Aeration, and SBR processes.
- Prepares the chemicals required for the testing of wastewater.
- Ensure all wastewater generated by the facility flows into the wastewater treatment plant
- Never discharge untreated wastewater into the environment.
- Submit weekly report on wastewater activities and quality to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all food safety standards at the workstation
- Report to the supervisor any breakdown of equipment or the process for prompt action.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualification
- Strong background in Environment/Water/Civil/Chemical Engineering: Minimum of HND
