ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Partner to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, coordinating imports, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with project requirements and company standards.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

FUNCTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and analyze departmental requisitions, determining appropriate sourcing strategies (local or international) in line with project timelines.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation until closure.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual agreements; report any non-conformance.
- Coordinate order acknowledgements and maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain order tracking schedules, providing regular updates on delivery status, shortages, and backlog.
- Engage internal customers to resolve order discrepancies and clarify requirements.
- Coordinate logistics and select cost-effective delivery methods for procured items.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality service and reliability.
- Maintain and update the company’s supplier database, ensuring compliance with engagement standards.
- Support supplier audits and report findings, including any identified non-conformances.
- Coordinate inspection, testing, and handover of goods to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of procurement initiatives and provide reports for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and departmental procedures.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.
OHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures
- Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions
- Risk Assessment
- Hazard identification and reporting
- Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable
Required Skills or Experience
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management or Social Science
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures
- Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Basic mathematical knowledge
