Our mission is to provide a range of financial services responsibly to people at the bottom of the pyramid. BGSL is part of BRAC International Holdings B.V (BIHBV) which operates in seven countries across Africa and Asia.

PURPOSE
To efficient utilization of resources to create value for the Institution; this business enabling function focuses on effective administration, logistics and facilities management, and vendor engagements across BGSL’s central and field offices in Ghana.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enforce company policies and safety standards to ensure a compliant and hazard-free workplace
- Work with the Legal officer to establish the Service Level Agreements for all service providers and suppliers and monitor their compliance;
- Maximize the best value for money for procurement activities in line with BGSL’s policies and procedures;
- Responsible for premises identification, setup and completion in line with BGSL’s standards and local regulations
- Procure and oversee external vendors for maintenance, cleaning, and security services to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Provide reports to management on regular basis on the activities managed and cost-cutting initiatives;
- Responsible for the preparation of purchase proposals and maintain up-to-date, effective security measures to protect the BGSL’s properties and staff;
- Ensure the BGSL’s insurance policy is adhered to at all premises and premium charges are paid promptly;
- Ensure strict compliance with Outsourcing guidelines and BGSL’s policies;
- Ensure that the Company has adequate cover for its fixed assets, against fraud and accidents;
- Co-ordination and management of all administrative issues like hygiene, stationeries and welfare;
Safeguarding responsibilities:
- Establish a safeguarding culture across the Institution by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Required Skills or Experience
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Degree: First Degree
- Concentration / Major: Procurement and Supply chain management, Engineering and Project management or any other relevant discipline.
PROFESSIONAL DEGREE / CERTIFICATION
- Project Management, Quantity surveying/ Architecture or Supply chain management is required

EXPERIENCE (Including sector/industry)
- At least 7 years’ working experience in project management, facilities management, logistics management and branch expansion
- Experience in managing contracts with various vendors and ensuring the SLA is adhered to
- Extremely proficient in computing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of customer service and a strong willingness to work in the field.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and training skills.
- Excellent technical report writing skills and computer literacy.
