Job Summary

Our client, an insurance services firm, is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Lead to oversee and grow its retail and SME portfolio within the non-life insurance segment. This role combines hands-on sales execution with leadership responsibility and pipeline oversight.

Role Overview

The Sales Lead will be responsible for generating new business prospects, managing key client relationships, and supporting the coordination of retail activities. The ideal candidate will have strong prospecting capabilities along with a consistent record of meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

As the sales lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating new retail and SME business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and outreach.
  • Developing and managing a structured sales pipeline.
  • Conducting client needs assessments and recommending suitable coverage solutions.
  • Preparing quotations and closing policy sales.
  • Assisting clients through the claims process.
  • Maintaining accurate records the and confidentiality of client information

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

  • At least a High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in insurance sales or a related client-facing sales role.
  • Experience handling retail accounts.
  • Working knowledge of non-life insurance products.

Core Competencies

  • Strong prospecting and closing capabilities.
  • Target-driven and self-motivated.
  • Keen sense of leadership and commitment to accountability.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Basic proficiency in CRM or sales tracking systems
