Chance for Children is on a mission to ensure that street children in Ghana are safe, educated, healthy, and equipped for life. Operating in eight locations—Accra, Tema, Kasoa, Hebron, Kumasi, Tamale, Takoradi, and Dambai—we combine child and youth development initiatives with family and community strengthening efforts, leveraging strategic partnerships to create a lasting impact for street children.
Beyond protection and care, we place strong emphasis on equipping young people to become skilled, responsible, and employable professionals. To this end, we developed the CFC Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programme, which combines work-based practical learning (80 percent) with school-based theoretical instruction (20 percent), grounded in strong ethical values, attitudes, and habits.
The TVET Coordinator leads Chance for Children’s (CFC) Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes, ensuring the effective design, coordination, and implementation of skills development interventions for street-connected youth. The role translates CFC’s organizational strategy into high-quality, demand-driven TVET programmes that enhance employability, ethical work practices, and access to decent income opportunities for youth.
The TVET Coordinator ensures that skills development initiatives remain relevant, adaptive, and forward-looking by drawing on labour market trends, industry insights, and programme learnings. The role tracks key outcomes, strengthens partnerships with training institutions and companies as pathways to youth employment, mitigates risks, and works collaboratively with branch teams, internal departments, and external partners to advance CFC’s skills development agenda.
We are seeking a passionate and versatile professional to join our dynamic team and lead the development and implementation of the CFC Skills Development Programmes.
