Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead our technology strategy and ensure every child has access to secure, engaging, and world-class online education. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CTO will serve as the architect of our digital learning ecosystem driving innovation, overseeing technical infrastructure, and aligning technology with our mission to deliver transformative K–12 learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Leadership
- Define and execute the organization’s long-term technology roadmap.
- Champion innovation in digital pedagogy and online learning platforms.
Technology Infrastructure
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the school’s LMS and digital tools.
- Ensure cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance with educational standards.
- Manage cloud services, integrations, and scalable systems.

Product Development & Innovation
- Collaborate with educators to create interactive, accessible, and student-centered digital experiences.
- Introduce emerging technologies (AI, adaptive learning, gamification) to enhance teaching and learning.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
- Establish KPIs for system performance, user experience, and adoption.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology solutions.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- 8+ years of senior technology leadership experience, ideally in EdTech or online learning.
- Strong expertise in software development, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with K–12 education systems and digital pedagogy.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
