Job Summary
BRONIEL is offering young talents the opportunity to join its diverse and growing team. The role will strengthen the company’s raw material sourcing and support the expansion of its product portfolio. It involves conducting research across priority agricultural value chains (such as pineapple, cashew, shea and macadamia nuts) and engaging/working with farmer groups, producers, and suppliers to ensure the company’s access to quality products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The hired candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct research into priority agricultural value chains, including pineapple, cashew, shea, and macadamia nuts, to uncover key market dynamics such as production areas, volumes, and other relevant factors.
- Identify and onboard farmer groups/cooperatives or aggregators/suppliers of targeted agricultural value chains across key sourcing regions such as Eastern and Western Africa.
- Support in keeping a database of farmers and keeping inventory of raw materials supplied to buyers.
- Coordinate the supply of quality raw materials from designated areas to partner processing or packing plants.
- Ensure Broniel’s consistent access to raw materials that meet required quality, volume, and sustainability standards.
- Support the development of sourcing strategies.
- Identify other potential value chains to expand BRONIEL’s product portfolio in line with market demand.
- Facilitate communication between suppliers and BRONIEL’s commercial and quality teams.
- Prepare reports on sourcing activities and value chain assessments.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Managing Director.
Required Skills or Experience
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE
The required candidate must demonstrate or possess the following qualifications/expertise/skills;
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agric Economics, Agric Extension, Business Development or related field.
- Strong understanding of agricultural value chains and raw material sourcing.
- Experience working with farmers, cooperatives, or suppliers is an advantage.
- Excellent research, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Willingness to travel and work in field locations.
- Ability to speak French and / Ewe is an advantage.
