Role Purpose:
To drive sustainable and profitable revenue growth for Sidan Associates & Partners by originating opportunities, converting leads into secured projects, and ensuring that business development and marketing activities are aligned with the company’s strategic, operational, and capacity realities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with SAP’s service offerings and delivery capacity
- Develop and maintain a structured and visible opportunity pipeline
- Initiate and manage client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
- Convert qualified leads into signed consultancy and construction contracts
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and follow-up
B. Proposal & Bid Management
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tenders
- Coordinate design, construction, and cost inputs across internal teams to ensure alignment of scope, pricing, and delivery assumptions
- Ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, compliant, and professionally presented
- Manage bid timelines, approvals, submissions, and post-submission follow-ups
- Support contract clarification and pre-award discussions with clients

C. Marketing & Brand Alignment
- Provide commercial direction to marketing and media activities
- Ensure marketing outputs support lead generation, brand credibility, and project acquisition objectives
- Review marketing content to ensure consistency with SAP’s positioning and service capabilities
- Align digital and offline marketing efforts with business development priorities
D. Partnerships & Market Intelligence
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships that support project acquisition and brand growth
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Provide regular market intelligence and pipeline updates to management to support strategic decision-making
E. Reporting & Performance Communication
- Prepare and submit periodic business development reports
- Provide forward-looking pipeline forecasts to support planning and resource allocation
- Highlight risks, constraints, or capacity concerns that may affect project acquisition or delivery
- Support management reviews with clear, accurate, and timely growth performance updates
KEY MEASURABLE AREAS (KMAs)
- Value and growth of active opportunity pipeline
- Number of new clients acquired
- Lead-to-project conversion rate
- Value of projects secured
- Proposal success rate
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in business development (construction or professional services preferred)
