About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software solutions that support core business objectives. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, while providing technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
As a senior member of the engineering team, you will play a key role in setting development standards, driving best practices, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, maintainable, and well-documented software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using C#, .NET, React.js, and SQL
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on feasibility and implementation approaches
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
- Apply appropriate software design patterns and principles to build maintainable, extensible, and high-performing solutions
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, supporting their technical growth and development
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation
- Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and technical debt
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and architecture

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework
- Solid experience with front-end technologies including React.js, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design
- Deep understanding of software design patterns and principles (e.g. SOLID, MVC, Repository, Factory)
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading other developers
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
