PureTrust Foundation is a Ghanaian Non-profit Organization located in Tamale Ghana. The mission of the Foundation is to promote the Economic Security and Social Inclusion of Disadvantaged Women and Men, Girls and Boys in Ghana through Cooperation. The organization promotes conservation agriculture as part of its contribution to food security and sustainable livelihoods.

Duty Station: Bole,Savannah Region

Purpose & Role of Job Holder

This Job Advert is soliciting for applications from applicants with the requisite educational qualification and practical field working skills in General Agriculture and related field in implementation of agriculture project promoting Climate Smart Agriculture, conservation Agriculture, environmental conservation of None-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) including Shea and Cashew conservation and propagation and working with farmer, Co-operatives

Required Skills or Experience

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Studies.
  • Practical Working Experience: An applicant should have a minimum of three (3) years practical working experience working in similar job position.
  • Languages: Should be fluent in a least any two of the following languages; Gonja, Brifo,Dagare/Wale. Working knowledge of Twi as additional language is an advantage.

Experience/Personal Attributes

  • Must have ability to learn and practice new concepts and to challenge him/herself to lead a new paradigm.
  • Must demonstrate practical understanding, skills and knowledge on Food Security, Climate Adaptation, Agri-business, soil conservation practices, crops, soils, animal husbandry, increase access to veterinary services by farmers etc
  • Must have practical experience in preparing crop calendar, Estimating crop yield and potential revenues from sale of farmers outputs.
  • Must have ability to live in a rural environment and work in a rural communities.
  • Must have experience in managing agric technology demonstration farms and transferring new technologies to farmers.
  • Must have practical farmer group mobilization, Co-operative development and management skills.
  • Must be computer literate, have practical skills in using the internet, Microsoft office tools and social media channels.
  • Experience working in NGO environment is advantaged but not necessary condition for engagement.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the role of gender and social inclusiveness in development work.
  • Must have practical knowledge of Beekeeping.
  • Must have practical knowledge and experience in forming and monitoring Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs).
  • Must have excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Must have practical skills in ridding Motor Bike for Field activities in rural environment.
  • Must have ability to work FULL-TIME from 8:00am to 5:pm each working day.
  • Must have ability to secure own accommodation in Bole.
  • Must not have any hindrance to undertake duty travels outside the duty station.
  • Ability to start work in TUESDAY 3rd FEBRUARY, 2026.

Employment Period: One (1) Year with possible extension based on performance.
