Job Summary
The Packaging Supervisor oversees daily packaging operations to ensure products are packed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. The role involves supervising packaging staff, coordinating with production and quality teams, and ensuring targets are met while minimizing waste and downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily packaging activities and staff
- Ensure packaging operations meet production schedules and output targets
- Monitor packaging quality to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene policies in the packaging area
- Train, guide, and evaluate packaging line staff
- Ensure proper use and availability of packaging materials
- Minimize material waste and report variances
- Maintain accurate packaging records, reports, and shift logs
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues
- Work closely with production, quality control, and warehouse teams

Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Packaging, or a related field
- Proven experience in packaging supervision
- Knowledge of packaging machinery and processes
- Understanding of quality control and safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO)
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines
